Modelling and Simulation of an Automated System in an Agricultural Warehouse

Information

The purpose of this application is to automate the activity in an agricultural warehouse. The assembly consists of a mobile robot (mBot) which has a video camera attached to the side of it, connected to the corresponding Raspberry Pi 4 module.

The problem this assignment solves follows the scenario where a robot is walks along a predetermined route in the warehouse stopping at each shelf and scanning the QR code corresponding to the shelf, the data generated by the QR code scan representing information about the fruit/vegetables on the shelf (id, type, quantity, price, country of origin). Information will be sent to a database and then exported to a visual C# application.

As for the mBot development, the Bee-Up tool will be used, created using the ADOxx platform. This tool is used to transmit data in the form of ADOscript code to the web platforms related to the device, and the data is further transmitted via an Arduino board
